It is like floating above the felled twin towers.

Tap is soft and gentle.
Press is hard and short.
I am asking myself if the gestures we make so many times during the day could influence our actitude towards objects and then relationships?
I see very often people interacting with their iphones as they would do with babies, touching them with respect, softness and care...

I suppose and hope yes!

A boost towards the future where emotions will be designed by colours of ultra gamma rays that currently do not exist. Five giant cones under LED technology lighting, controlled by a workstation, featuring changeable hue and lighting intensities depending on the colour chosen by each person. Designer Ezri Tarazi and the d-vision Group. A design installation at "50 + 50 Designing the Future" during "Salone del Mobile" Milan Fair.

"The Royal Opera in Stockholm had a problem. Young people did not listen to Opera. The solution was to let the target group experience Opera in everydaylife. They replaced every subway station in the Stockholm subway with an emotion. And for every emotion there is a designated piece of opera- or ballet music. Enter the emotions you want to travel between in the Emotion Planner and you´ll get a playlist of music to enjoy along the way"
From tourdefork, an italian food design laboratory, a product that re-uses kitchen wastes and give taste to our homes, the Orange Peel Hanger. In the italian houses during winter its usual to find orange, mandarin or lemon peels placed on a warm radiator. The oils contained in the skins evaporate and engulf the room with their fragrance. Funny and energetic the contrast between the white of the radiator and the orange of the peel.

Luxury, once a single segment at the top of the market, is now multi-layered, with different customers, marketing and prices. There’s a new luxury consumer with a ‘new slow’ or ‘deep living’ approach to life who wants sustainable, ethical and cultural-based luxury.
Here below Eco Pod - Boutique Retreat a fantastic exemple of the emergent trend of eco luxury.

Spaces designed to accommodate large industrial machines are now the setting for artifacts of contemporary art. Those spaces that once were mass production's places for the industrial society, today are place of production of unique objects for the Information Society, focused on individual. The poetry of the spaces, created also by sizes that displace the visitor in an unusual dimension, suggests to redefine relationships between people and his environment. Tate Modern, London - UK
Tate Modern, Londra – GB

A restaurant and night club where beds with white sheets, discreet and suffused light with a reminiscent tone of the night, welcome you. It 's almost like "The phantom of liberty" a Louis Buñel movie where eating alone in rooms like toilets and on the other hand carring out bodily functions sitting around meeting table is the common use. We act according to mind maps defined by the society we live in. Redefining them generates awe, embarrassment, emotion, and provides the framework in which to design new experiences for new consumers.

Straniamento

An impercetible bridge between two worlds unites mammals capable of emotional intelligence, offering the chance to rediscover the magic of communication as well as the capacity to feel. "To conserve the spirit of your youth throughout your life means conserving the hunger for knowledge, the pleasure of comprehension and the desire to communicate". Bruno Munari. Oceanographic Parc, Valencia - Spain. Musa Boom
Magia
Lerici - Italia
